Week 72 Trick-or-treat, swollen feet, 155 pieces of candy to eat
FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,
Wow wow wow HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I hope you all had the best and most festive Holiday, ours was definitely eventful.
We continue to teach our good friend Ray, we talked about the Restoration this week and he said that so far everything that he has heard lines up with his beliefs and the bible. He is superrrrr cool.
We got to see and talk to lots of amazing people this week which as always I loved!!! I don't have a ton of details for you, but just know that I have felt extremely grateful and humbled for the opportunity to have been able to serve in this area around such amazing people.
A quote I loved from my studies said:
"Weakness and humility lead to hopefulness, not helplessness." -Scott Swofford
I LOVE THIS!! As y'all know I have been studying a lot about humility and I know that as we turn things over to the Lord and recognize our own shortcomings He makes things into so much more than they ever could have become if they were left just to us. I love God and He is sooooo good to me.
Mucho Love,
Sister Tams
Other/Funny Stuff:
-Sister Hancock cut herself shaving and ended up with cellulitis...soooo, her foot got very very red and very swollen and we had to go to the E.R. on Halloween night! It was very eventful, we even had to leave Sister Hancock alone for a time. It felt so wrong.
-Sister Soultz dad sent us 6 more cans of Enchilada sauce as well as 155 pieces of candy. We have been eating wayyyy too much candy and people just keep giving us more.
-We marked Sister Hancocks redness to measure how much it grew and I turned it into a Ghost....tis the season lol
-We decided to be hippies for Halloween, it was fun
-Per my tradition we got a Jack-o-lantern pizza and it made me very very happy
-The Hermanas went to MLC this week so we got to be a quad for a day, it was fun:)))
-Chris Jackson fed us dinner, I love him.
