Week 6 Please don't do Cocaine, Cocaine will ruing your Brain!

FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,

Miss me? I know I know it's only been a couple of days, but its regular Pday again! It has been a busy and eventful week, most of which I don't particularly remember. Its rough having 2 Pdays so close to each other! 

This week we taught Leonard and Angelo about the Word of Wisdom the lesson went so well and they said they felt so inspired to quit smoking that when they left that night they decided to have some cocaine to celebrate...so that was fun. They still have such a desire and we have been teaching them more, with a priesthood holder just in case anything wacky happens. But they are awesome, we had some great spiritual lessons this week and we got to meet some more of the AMAZING members here in West Sac! 

One of those members is the Arend family, they had us over for dinner the other night and are just such good missionaries and had such good advice for us on how to unify the ward. The ward that I am in has hundreds of inactive members that we have been trying to work with to bring back to church, the Arends had some awesome ideas on how to unify the ward in this effort! We got to go to their sons mission call opening which was awesome, he is going to India and it was so special and so spiritual to be a missionary watching him find out where he is going to be preaching this amazing gospel! 

We have also been teaching this amazing family this week named Monique and Melek, they have the CUTEST son named Messiah and they have been so receptive to our message. The gospel is truly so so good and I love teaching it so so much. 

We get to teach a Book of Mormon class each Wednesday and this week we taught Moroni 7 which is SUCH A GOOD CHAPTER, GO READ IT, RIGHT NOW. ESPECIALLY VERSE 45-48, IM IN LOVE. Verse 45 talks about what it means to be charitable and as we were reading it I had the impression to replace the word charity with my name and it was such a beautiful idea...charity or pure love is truly something that possesses you not something we possess so as I replaced my name the spirit manifested to me that if I can do the things listed in the verse I can have the gift of charity, and what a beautiful gift that is. Your all big kids go look up the chapter, I PROMISE you will not regret it.

-We watched this dude punch out this other guys windshield...craziest thing I have ever seen (don't worry mom it was in Sacramento on Friday...not in my area) 
-We got to do exchanges this week with Sister Weight & I adore her...she is the cutest

Week 68 Baptism, Conference and Transfers

  FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD, EVERYTHING happened this week. ALL of it. Here is a highlight reel: -BOB GOT BAPTIZED YESTERDAY!!!! It was an amazing poolside service and lots of great people came to support him. He was glowing and said he felt goosebumps the whole time. I love him so so much and am so so so happy that I got to be apart of it all.  -SISTER BUNKER IS LEAVING. Transfers are today and we found out we will be losing her to Novato. She is a rockstar and will be an STL her ENTIRE MISSION!!! I still cannot believe our dreams came true and that we got to be companions, I read a note that I wrote to her right after the MTC and I addressed it to my future companion. God is good and knew that I needed a comp like her, forever grateful.  -We are getting a cutie named Sis Hancock, she came in with Sister Soultz so I will be ending my last transfer with 2 newish missionaries!!! It should be lots of fun.  -LAST BUT CERTAINTLY NOT LEAST ...

Friends and family, brothers and sisters, children of God,  We are on fire again, literally and figuratively! Last night we got a call that the Hermanas would be coming to stay the night because they were evacuated!! It has been a fun little slumber party and honestly none of us know how long it will last. The ash is worse than it ever has been before, the floor is coated with it. It is the end of the world, but that's okay because the work moves forward!! My zone has been continuing to kill it and we OFFICIALLY hit our high water mark, with 3 baptisms to go!! These Elders and Sisters are incredible and they have been working SO hard! I am SO glad I got to be apart of it all.  Bob is doing really really good and is making his way back to California! Which is THE BEST because his baptism will be on Sunday!!! We are ALL so excited!! SO PLS PRAY THAT THE FIRES DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING.  I have been teaching Sis Soultz the story of the Book of Mormon, because as a recent convert...
