Week 70 Spooky Season
FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,
We did lots and lots of service this week!! Which I LOVE. It is amazing what a simple I am thinking about you can do to brighten someone's day. We decided to heart attack some of the people that we are teaching that have been going through a hard time as well as bake cookies for those that we thought would appreciate that more than the hearts haha. It was good and uplifting for everyone involved.
Lots and lots of things fell through which is always weird but luckily God is good and we still got to have lots of lessons and work really hard. One of our comp goals is to not be idle and we are making sure to accomplish that, there is always something to do, someone to help, someone to find. We just gotta keep working.
I came across Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 11 which reads:
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end."
I thought about this throughout the week and came to the conclusion that it is SOOO TRUE. In our lives we all go through "seasons" whether that is a rough time in high school, feeling like we are on cloud 9 in college, or being on a mission. Things change, it is inevitable. We don't know what is going to happen next most of the time. But God is good and allows us to change with time, to become better and to recognize that He is guiding us through it all. We just have to trust Him in each and every season that we are in. I am grateful for that. Especially bc right now is one of my favorite seasons....spooky season;))))
Mucho Love,
Sister Tams
Other/Funny Stuff:
-We are going to start teaching an online ordained Pastor that refers to himself as Pastor Matt this week, should be fun.
-Sis Soultz has only driven in Iowa, which is apparently VERY flat so she keeps on being amazed at all of these "mountains" (they are hills) that she has had to drive over...it is quite entertaining.
-Remember our melted gummy wad from last week? My comps attempted to eat it...it was quite entertaining
-Found out that Sis Soultz 2 biggest fears are ski lifts and that her husband will murder her....
-We are gonna paint pumpkins today and I am soooo stoked....I LOVE HALLOWEEN.
-We were walking back to our car and this lady apologized and we figured it was bc she wasn't wearing a mask and Rona but then her kid started peeing on the side of the road hahahahaha....it was funny.
