Week 68 Baptism, Conference and Transfers

FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,

EVERYTHING happened this week. ALL of it. Here is a highlight reel:

-BOB GOT BAPTIZED YESTERDAY!!!! It was an amazing poolside service and lots of great people came to support him. He was glowing and said he felt goosebumps the whole time. I love him so so much and am so so so happy that I got to be apart of it all.
-SISTER BUNKER IS LEAVING. Transfers are today and we found out we will be losing her to Novato. She is a rockstar and will be an STL her ENTIRE MISSION!!! I still cannot believe our dreams came true and that we got to be companions, I read a note that I wrote to her right after the MTC and I addressed it to my future companion. God is good and knew that I needed a comp like her, forever grateful.
-We are getting a cutie named Sis Hancock, she came in with Sister Soultz so I will be ending my last transfer with 2 newish missionaries!!! It should be lots of fun.
-LAST BUT CERTAINTLY NOT LEAST GENERAL CONFERENCE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! SUCH A SPIRITUAL HIGH.

I LOVED the words of our Prophet and found that a common theme throughout the whole conference was allowing our will to be swallowed up in the will of the Father. I have learned the value of this and continue to learn the value throughout my whole mission. In the words of Elder Holland "The times and seasons of our mortal journey are His, and they are His to direct" THAT IS SO TRUE. I didn't get to pick how I ended my last transfer and I am nervous moving forward and having to face the reality that maybe just maybe I don't have 18 months left, BUT I do get to pick to trust God. And that I do, He really knows it all and for that I am eternally grateful.

Mucho Love,
Sister Tams

Other/Funny Stuff:
-We got a call from this guy we street contacted and he talked to Sis Bunker for about 30 mins just about the guitar and what she should do in order to start learning how to play lol.
-Our Zone hit our high water mark and got to take a pic all together, A LOT of people are changing but I am SO grateful I got to work alongside these amazing Elders and Sisters.
-We got to have the Hermanas evacuated here for a couple of days and it was a dream, I love those girlies sooooo much. Sadly and luckily though the fires are under control and everyone in my mission got to go home safe.
-Sister Jones is the cutest and had all the Sisters in our zone over for the Women's conference, God is sooooo good in letting me serve around the Jones again. They are like my grandparents.
-ITS MY DADS BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!!! HE IS THE VERY BEST AND I HOPE HE HAS THE BEST BIRTHDAY IN THE WORLD, DAD YOU ARE MY HERO.
-I love my mission and I am never coming home.

Bob's Baptism

Love these girls so much!
