Week 66 pie, dye, fry, and that one guy Bob
FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD!!!
I HAVE THE BEST NEWS FOR YOU!!!
Remember Bob??
The one who is supposed to be in Indiana until November...
WELL
He decided to come home early!!!!!
SOOOO we were able to put him on date to be baptized on the 4th of October!!!!
IM SOOOOO HAPPY
HE IS THE BEST
What a good week it was!! We taught a couple of lessons to our good friend Bob which he readily accepted! He is going strong with everything that we have taught him so far and is SO excited for his baptism. We got to see his face for the first time this week over zoom which was VERY exciting!! He attended online church with us, me and my companions got to speak and he said that he really liked each of our talks. I love him, he rocks. God is good.
We got to go on exchanges with some of our cute Hermana friends! Hermana Lamoreaux came to Sebastopol and spent the day with me and Sis Soultz. We got to try this cute diner and we had the BEST fries...it was a wonderful wonderful day!!
I came across this poem that I loved:
"We stand at the crossroads,
each minute,
each hour,
each day,
making choices.
We choose
the thoughts
we allow ourselves to think,
the passions
we allow ourselves to feel,
and the actions
we allow ourselves to perform."
Think about that, your life is up to you.
Mucho Love,
Sis Tams
Other/Funny Stuff:
-We are doing 1 treat a week and this week we chose pumpkin pie...we had to track it down but it was worth every second of the journey. I love pie.
-I spoke in church on Sunday and I accidentally finished by saying "In the name of thy son, Jesus Christ" instead of just in the name of Jesus Christ...I got SO close to the end without messing up...oh well, next time.
-One of the members in our ward is this adorable Belguim women named Sis Thirion. She gave us this box full of funny cards, we passed one on to the cute Hermanas and shared the wealth of our pumpkin pie. We love them.
-Our district made Tie Dye shirts and then we all wore them on Monday, the Elders also brought their instruments and we made a horrible song all about missionary work, it was quite funny. I may or may not have beat boxed in it...what a ride.
-The weekend of the 4th is going to be the wildest weekend....we have MLC, General Conference, Bobs baptism, AND transfers!!! SO MANY OF MY FAVORITE THINGS.
Treat of the week!
These Fries were BOMB!
