Week 65 Loreal Models

FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,

Time is such a weird thing...I swear it keeps on speeding up. It is all going by WAY too fast and I am not a fan, good things I still have 18 months left...

Bob is still doing amazing!! We taught him about the Word of Wisdom and he said that his first thought after we told him he would have to give up coffee was that he was going to have to deal with a lot of with drawl headaches!!! HIS FIRST THOUGHT wasn't about whether he was going to follow it or not, it was about the effects of him quitting. It wasn't even a question whether he would or not. I LOVE HIM. He has been traveling all over the place as he is headed to Indiana, he even stopped by good ol' temple square and sent us pictures. He is eating up everything we are teaching him and I am so so so happy about it.

We got to go on exchanges on Thursday. Sister Conor came here with me and Sis Soultz and it was a grand ol' time. It feels like yesterday that Sister Conor came to West Sac on her very first exchange. I am very blessed to get to be her STL in more than one area and to get to go on so many exchanges with her. She rocks.

I liked this quote in my studies this week:
"While the atonement is meant to help all of us become more like Christ, it is not meant to make us all the same" -Elder Uchtdorf
I enjoyed this a lot. It is really really cool to think about how God made all of us so uniquely and beautifully different. We are all on our own journey to perfection but that perfection looks different for each of us. He is molding us into a masterpiece but while the finished product will be perfect it won't look the same. I think there is a lot of beauty to that. I know that God cares and loves our differences and wants us to magnify and enhance the gifts he has given us in our lives. He is pretty cool like that, He just loves us....even if we are weird.

Mucho love,
Sister Tams

Other/Funny Stuff:
-Sis Soultz eats more than any other Sister I have ever seen, it was her birthday last Monday and we ate IHOP, Taco Bell, Mexican, cake, and more...it was soooooo much food.
-I would LOVE your opinions on how you think we could reach more people on Social Media!!! As a Social Media Specialist I am trying to figure out more effective ways for my mission and sometimes I just run out of ideas....pls enlighten me.
-We were at a members house for dinner and Sis Soultz was trying to take a picture slyly so that the member didn't see but then her flash was on...so the product was the pic below of me and Sis Bunker just laughing.
-This one day the smoke was so bad outside that it was legit dark till 10:30am...it was orange and black, wild stuff. I felt like I lived in the Book of Revelations.
-The member that brought us flowers and sang to us last week called and told  us he had presents for us. He gave us more flowers, strawberries, and he went to Walgreens and printed a picture of him at the avenue of the giants. He is a funny guy, he also told me and Sis Bunker that we should be a loreal hair models...so that was fun. Older people are funny sometimes.
