Week 57 Welcome to my Balancing Act

FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,

WE GOT THE CUTEST GREENIE IN THE WORLD THIS WEEK. Her name is Sister Soultz and she is from Iowa. She has only been a member for A YEAR AND A HALF!! She has SO much faith and such a desire to serve. She is seriously the cutest and the things that she says gets me and Sister Bunker laughing SOOOO hard.

It has been a new found challenge this week working to juggle all that we have going on but my oh my does the Lord provide. Although we had training meetings, staying the night in Santa Rosa, teaching twice, doing social media stuff, and getting our cute greenie we still were able to have 21 lessons this week which was honestly a miracle!!

A couple of those lessons were with Michael. We set up the Book of Mormon for her to listen to on her laptop and she is SO excited. We called her yesterday and she bore her testimony on prayer and said that ever since we started meeting things have just felt better, LOVE HER.

A lot of the people we are teaching right now have been loving the Book of Mormon and it makes me SO happy. One guy said that any page he turns to has something good on it. Another guy said that he just keeps it around and reads it every once in awhile for a pick me up. THE BOOK OF MORMON HELPS BRING PEACE AND JOY EVERY SINGLE DAY. Don't believe me? TRY IT. I promise you, if you read ever single day your week will just go better.

This week has been amazing, overwhelming, and humbling. I am very very very grateful to have Sister Bunker by my side to help co-train and keep me sane. God is funny in giving you exactly who you need, when you need it. He also gives the exact lesson you need, when you need it. Here is a quote I found this week that I love:

"Nothing draws you closer to the Lord Jesus Christ than a desire to change."

I am far from perfect, but somehow the Lord qualifies me every. single. time. I am very grateful that all He requires of me is desire and action and He will do the rest. Let Him in my friends, you will never regret it.
Mucho Love,
Sister Tams

Other/Funny Stuff:
-We had 7 cute greenies stay with us on Tuesday night and it was SO fun getting to know all of them...it sure did make me feel old tho, hahahhaha. I didn't know like half of the references they made.
-There was a bit of a mess up in the system and we found out who our greenie was and she found out who we were before we were supposed to so that was supppeeerrrr funny.
-I had my very first sacrament in a member home yesterday and it was so sweet.
-We got to have district P-day the last 2 weeks and we played Secret Hitler which if you know me you know I killed it at that game...
-A bunch of my cute Hermana friends went home last week...they will be missed.
-Cali is shut down again in certain counties....we can still be in homes but we can't gather as missionaries at the church buildings...lols, what a rollercoaster it has been. We do get to have Zone Conference in person though (outside of our county) which I am stoked about.
