Week 56 Beep Jeep What Color? Greenie!

FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD!

YET ANOTHER CRAZYYY WEEK.

Here are some highlights:
We got transfer news!!!! Me and Sister Bunker will be staying in Sebastopol but we will sadly be losing our beloved Sister Powell to Vacaville. She will be missed. We will be picking up a new missionary on Wednesday and we get the great privilege of training her, VERY EXCITING.
☆We got a call on Friday from the APs and they wanted us to come to the mission office with a clean car...they wouldn't tell us why. So we go and they give us a JEEP. Turns out our new mission president decided to take all the Sisters in my mission off of bikes and give them cars. So they were switching them all around and we got a rental car for now, a 2019 jeep limited, CANNOT COMPLAIN.
☆We had a BOMB lesson with Michael this week that consisted of Apple Pie, the Plan of Salvation, and her accepting an invitation to prepare to be baptized!! She is just getting ready and has awhile to go but she LOVES everything that we have taught her and is excited to learn even more. I LOVE HER.
☆We got to drop off a Book of Mormon to our friend Bobs house and guess what? HE ACTUALLY READ SOME OF IT. We talked with him yesterday and he said he felt that God directed us to call him at this time because he really needed it. He loves the power that he has felt from reading already and we are SO excited to see him in person this week!
☆We got to meet President and Sister Puffer and we bonded over Kirt's milkshakes and Northern Utah. I love them both already and know that God sent them here for a reason. President Puffer shared this poem with us that I love and just want to share with you all:

"Father, where shall I work today?
And my love flowed warm and free.
Then He pointed out a tiny spot
And said, “Tend that for me.”
I answered quickly, “Oh no; not that!
Why, no one would ever see,
No matter how well my work was done;
Not that little place for me.”
And the word He spoke, it was not stern;
He answered me tenderly:
“Ah, little one, search that heart of thine.
Art thou working for them or for me?
Nazareth was a little place,
And so was Galilee.”
--Meade McGuire

I LOVE this poem. No matter how big or small our role is God needs all of us to labor in His vineyard. I LOVE my Father in Heaven and serving Him brings me so much joy no matter what I am doing, no matter where I am.

Pray that we don't mess up our new greenie.

Mucho Love,
Sister Tams

Other/Funny Stuff:
-We have to help teach all 35 of the new missionaries coming in this transfer so we will be out of our area for like 3 days and have 3 sleepovers with 15 different sisters. It is gonna be a party honestly.
-The ZLs made banana bread for all the Missionaries in our zone and we wrote little notes. It was cute.
-We have lots of responsibilities so pls pray that we will have enough time to get it all done, lol.
-We had a day this week that from no fault of our own we ended up eating like 6 desserts in one day. People kept on offering us things and not taking no for an answer.
-My area is beautiful, God is good.
