Week 15 New Car who Dis?
FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, CHILDREN OF GOD,
REST IN PEACE 2 SISTER BUNCH. SHE WILL BE MISSED. Today is transfers and our beloved trainer Sister Bunch left us to go whitewash in Fairfield. Rest In Peace, I am so sad to see her go. BUT what that means is that I am staying in West Wacky as an STL and finishing Training Sister Schmutz which is a lot to do right out of training, but I guess whatever God wants from me. BUT THE BIGGEST NEW THING IS THAT WE GOT A MINI VAN. We haven't figured out a name for it yet so if you have any suggestions please let me know. Its a pretty white van that I get to be the designated driver for this transfer, so that'
s fun.
s fun.
I also hit my 100 days this week! That was weird for me but a grand old time. This whole mission thing has honestly been a blink of an eye for me so far but I also feel like I was born here so that's fun. Speaking of being born, we had our primary program yesterday and for those of you who don't know I LOVE KIDS. SO MUCH. So it was honestly my favorite thing especially because this cute little girl was singing so so loudly with her whole heart that it was basically just a solo and I loved it. Denise loved it more tho.
YES, THAT DOES INDEED MEAN THAT DENISE CAME TO CHURCH!! She loved the little kids singing and started crying when we sang I stand all amazed. I have a lot of love in my heart for her and I just want to help her. We went over to her apartment again on Saturday and did service and she bought us these potstickers that were honestly bomb, she makes me laugh so so hard especially because she is a little crazy but the things she says are hilarious.
Angelo also came to church which was exciting! We got to teach him a couple of times this week and had some really decent lessons. He is a little bit of a goober still though so I have the faith but if it isn't Gods will it may not be his time yet. Keep him in your prayers tho.
We tracted into 2 really awesome people this week! One is named Jeremy and he is a little 17 year old boy that just wants to learn about Jesus and I am STOKED to teach him more, the others name is Sarai and I LOVE HER. We knocked on her door and told her that we go around sharing a really important message about Jesus Christ and she was like "I would love to hear it" We were honestly a little taken back, but she was super receptive and we get to go back on Thursday!
It was a whirlwind of a week. My dear Sister Weight also got transferred and Sister Needham got transferred into West Sac B with Sister Gallew (so in our ward). SO now we have duos all over the place, its like a whole new mission.
Help us name our van pls
Mucho love,
Sister Tams
Other/Funny Stuff:
-We tracted into 3 different people this week who thought we were Amish or Jehovah's Witnesses, we tried to tell all of them that we weren't but they just didn't seem to get it lol.
-I am so stoked for this transfer, Sister Schmutz is pretty much pretrained
-Turns out I love graham cracker ice cream
-Denise told us this week that ever since she met us she just wants to tell everyone about us and people keep making fun of her for calling us her cute little mormon girls since we are in our 20s (19, close enough)...she told us tha in her mind any women under the age of 40 is a little girl.
-I LOVE KIDS SO MUCH
